Kintsugi is the Japanese practice of repairing broken pottery with gold

So that the imperfections add beauty and value

What was broken is mended with a golden seam.

Hearts are subject to kintsugi

They are broken and leave a scar

That can only be mended with love,

The gold that not only repairs the break

But adds to its beauty.

Broken hearts can be repaired

And with time, the cracks are covered with gold.

The imperfections of the heart

Are mended

And the mending

Is a thing of beauty.

The mending of a life is kintsugi

Grace is the golden

And the life becomes more beautiful.

A good life has much kintsugi.
