Darkness? Be the Light.

There  are creatures that live deep within caves

Living their lives entirely in darkness, they become blind.

Over countless generations, the species adapts and becomes completely blind.

Some say that we live in a time of darkness.

But if we accept that, will we become blind?

If we accept darkness without change, will our children then also be blind?

Will all humanity be blind?

If we walk around in darkness, bumping and feeling our way around,

We may cry, “Where is the light?”

Be the light and see. Open your eyes and shine!

Be the light that keeps others from blindness

Be the light that keeps others from stumbling.

But be the light to ensure that your children are not so accustomed to darkness

That they become blind.
