Lately I have had several young friends talk to me about their path and I heard a calling to be there. This is dedicated to them.
Young people walk a path and think it goes nowhere,
They keep on walking and the scenery doesn’t seem to change.
Therefore, they have the illusion of not going anywhere.
We, the old, have walked a long path and know,
That the path indeed does go places, some wonderful
And some not.
But there a direction and beautiful diversions along the way,
You just haven’t seen them yet.
And we, the old, have a duty ,
to see that you don’t walk the path alone.
Take my hand.
