Your Opinion Matters. You Matter More.

People have opinions that build walls between them and others

A difference of opinion is a great big obstacle in the path to understanding,

But obstacles are always part of any path.

When you value a person more than his or her opinion

And especially more than your own,

You may just learn something about yourself.

If you limit your view of a person to your opinion of their opinion,

You have closed one eye and are squinting the other nearly shut,Seeing only a sliver, and objectifying someone.

Their opinion, as unpleasant as it may seem to you, is not the obstacle

They may be wrong, terribly wrong and you have every right to think so.

But there may be more to the story.

Perhaps their opinion is not the obstacle standing between you.

Maybe you are.
